TEC-Grills-Do-Everything-Better.jpg

When we invented the infrared grill forty years ago, TEC Grills was in a league of its own. No other grill could get as hot as ours for that perfect sear. But people grill more than steaks and burgers, so our engineers went back to the drawing board to fine tune our burners. Today, we’re in a league of our own for the opposite reason: no other infrared grill on the market is capable of turning down to an ultra-low 200°, the perfect temp for slow cooking a pork shoulder or smoking ribs. And we still hit that high high that drew you to infrared in the first place.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

The Advantage

It smokes. It sears. It barbecues low and slow. No hot air to dry out food. Just moist, tender, juicy, charbroiled flavor. No flare-ups. No charring. No hot or cold spots. It heats up quickly and is easy to clean. From the inventors of infrared grilling – we’ve raised the bar again in outdoor cooking with our new, patented, 100% infrared grilling system.

CULINARY EXPERIENCE

Moist & Juicy

The more hot air a grill uses to cook food, the drier it will be, and traditional gas grills cook with 100% hot air. Even other infrared grills use about 65% hot air (and 35% infrared). But TEC’s patented, 100% infrared grilling system eliminates the hot air, so food retains up to 35% more of its own natural juices. The end result – tender, juicy food.

Enhanced Char Broil Flavor

Radiant glass panels below the cooking grates incinerate food drippings, creating a rich, smoky vapor that flavors the food. Now you can have it all – the convenience of gas and the charbroiled flavor of charcoal or wood, but without the ashy residue.

SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE

Versatile Temperature Range

TEC grills reach higher searing temperatures across the grates than other infrared gas grills. But they also turn down much lower, allowing you to slow cook, barbeque, or smoke at 250 – 300° F, and sear a steak at 850° F.

No Hot or Cold Spots

When you are cooking on a TEC Infrared Gas Grill, you don’t have to search for that sweet spot or worry about raw hamburgers or overcooked steak. We designed our stainless steel burners to distribute heat evenly across the cooking grates. Every square inch of cooking surface is available for grilling, and temperatures at the grate can be controlled by the simple turn of a knob.

Rapid Heat-Up

0-850° F in 10 minutes. How’s that for cutting your grilling time in half?

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Self Cleaning

Clean up is quick and easy. Just turn your grill on high for 10-15 minutes with the hood closed to incinerate food drippings and debris.

Traditional Stovetop Use

Forget about that side burner that doesn’t work well anyway. You don’t need a sideburner with a TEC grill. Simply place your cookware on top of the cooking grate, or for faster heat up, remove the grate and cook directly on the radiant glass.

Energy Efficient

Laboratory tests show TEC’s patented grilling system uses up to 50% less fuel than other gas grills. We burn faster and cleaner. In fact, you’ll get more than twice the grilling time on a standard LP gas cylinder.

THE SCIENCE

Infrared 101

Everything in nature, including food, is surrounded by a moisture boundary – a layer of air and water molecules. The hot air generated by other grills can’t penetrate this boundary without disturbing it, so food is exposed to the drying elements of hot air as it cooks. TEC grills cook with 100% infrared energy that doesn’t disturb the moisture boundary, so food retains up to 35% more of its own natural juices and remains tender and juicy.
